Over fourteen years ago, Mandy Moore launched Make Your Move Performing Arts Studio, a School with a progressive dance program specifically designed to meet the needs of the very young dancer as well as accommodate and properly educate the more advanced dancer. Make Your Move and its staff endeavor to inspire and educate their students during every class. The commitment to making all MYM dancers feel safe, comfortable, and confident in the studio and educational setting is of the utmost importance. Make Your Move Performing Arts Studio’s goal is to create a "safe haven for dancers" in an environment that is nurturing and positive, so that learning and growing can develop, and the dance process can begin. Currently MYM offers more than twenty-nine classes in their Opelika Studio and beginning in September of 2007 will offer 9 classes in their new School in the Valley area .
